Scripture: We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and teaches us all we need to know for life and godliness. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
God: We believe that God is a spirit. He is all powerful, all knowing and everywhere. (Romans 11:33-36; Genesis 1:1)
Godhead: We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus: We believe that Jesus is the Christ the son of God. He is the Savior of all people, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and both fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:26-35; Isaiah 7:14)
Christ’s Death and Resurrection: We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day and personally appeared to His disciples. (Romans 4:25)
Salvation and Baptism: We believe it is because of Jesus’ sacrifice that we are saved by the grace of God through our repentance and our faith, not our good works. We also believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for the remission of sins. (1Timothy 2:5-6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-39)
Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit lives in each Christian and His work results in sanctification. (1 Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22-26)
The Church: We believe God established His Church as a community of believers, with Christ as the head, for the purpose of sharing the good news of salvation and eternal life. A great blessing of the church is sharing life together, encouraging one another, serving our community and worshiping regularly. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25).
The Greatest Command: We believe the greatest commandments are to love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:36-40)
