Midwest LTC: Our church desires and hopes that the next generation will be greater followers of Jesus than the current one. We want God glorified in our lives, but we also want God to be glorified in the lives of our children and teens. In order to do this, we must prepare and equip them to follow Jesus. Therefore, we do discipleship with purpose and passion. That is why our church participates in LTC. The Midwest LTC is an organization designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental, and social growth among young men and women in grades three through twelve. Its mission is to achieve this growth by developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian service. Skill development in each of these areas will be accomplished through participation in a variety of individual and group events. These events will take place in the context of a wholesome and supportive environment designed for the purpose of fostering enthusiasm and high achievement among the participants. Discipleship in Jesus is a lifestyle, a purpose, and a philosophy of life. Discipleship is lived out daily. Therefore, the activities of LTC are year-round. However, The Midwest LTC holds an annual convention each year in various locations in Indiana to allow the students to display and participate in many of the LTC events and projects.
